Founded in 1744 by Samuel Baker in London, Sotheby’s is the world’s oldest leading auction house for the sale of Art.

Nowadays, Sotheby’s organizes more than 350 auction sales each year, in some 80 categories in salerooms worldwide, from New York to London, not to mention Hong Kong, Geneva, Milan, Singapore, Zurich, Melbourne and, of course, Paris.

The world’s most famous auction sales have been conducted by Sotheby’s, such as the sale of the collection of Gianni Versace, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, and David Bowie in November 2016.

In 1976, Sotheby’s creates Sotheby’s International Realty to meet its costumer’s requirements in real estate, and assist them in the research of luxury estate, or their selling plans. The successful firm grows and became the world largest network for luxury real estate worldwide.
